What to Expect With Your Microneedling Treatment
Before coming in for your microneedling services, we ask you stay away from prolonged unprotected sun exposure or tanning beds for at least two weeks. You also want to avoid waxing any areas we’ll treat in your sessions. We also recommend avoiding using makeup on the day of treatment. If you would like, we do offer a professional-grade numbing cream, but most treatments cause only slight discomfort. Once finished, expect your skin to be flush to bright red, which will fade within 24-48 hours. We ask you to remain out of direct or harsh sunlight for 24 hours, but if you must, please use sunscreen with SPF 25 or higher. Also, it is recommended you do not wear makeup for the first 24 hours post-treatment if possible.
