What to Expect With Your Microneedling Treatment
Before coming in for your microneedling services, we ask you stay away from prolonged sun exposure or tanning beds for at least two weeks. You also want to avoid waxing any areas we’ll treat in your sessions. We also recommend avoiding using deodorants, harsh peels, or makeup on the day of treatment. If you would like, we do offer a professional-grade numbing cream, but most treatments cause only slight discomfort. Once finished, expect your skin to be flush to bright red, which will fade within 24-48 hours. We ask you to remain out of direct or harsh sunlight for 24 hours, but if you must, please use sunscreen with SPF 25 or higher. Also, it is recommended you do not wear makeup for the first 24-48 hours post-treatment if possible.

With microneedling RF, the energy is delivered below the skin to the areas where it is needed most to stimulate collagen production and cell regeneration.
Prior to the microneedling RF treatment, the esthetician will numb your skin to reduce any potential discomfort or pain associated with the procedure. You may, however, have some redness and swelling.
It depends on how much help your skin needs. It’s often determined by your age and damage done to your skin by the sun or acne. We can recommend the right treatment for you but as a general rule microneedling RF will typically yield better results.
Downtime varies from person to person, but generally, you may experience mild redness and mild swelling for about 24 hours after your microneedling treatment.
As your skin begins to react to the treatment, you will start to see improvements within the first week. Most clients see full results between four and six-weeks post-treatment.
Numbing cream will be used for all Microneedling and Microneedling RF procedures. If you are anxious you can request numbing cream with your nanoneedling procedure.
